Beech House is a family run guest house offering a warm and friendly atmosphere.
It is situated in the small village of Glenridding in the beautiful Eden valley, and has a wonderful view of Lake Ullswater and the surrounding fells from some of the rooms.

All rooms are equipped with:
• Individually Controlled Central Heating • Wash Hand Basins 
• Tea and Coffee making facilities • Colour Television 
• Some Rooms have en-suite facilities

A Brief History
Beech House is situated in Glenridding, halfway along the old coaching route which ran between Windermere and Penrith, approximately 13 miles in each direction. Glenridding village evolved from the discovery of Greenside lead mine in the 1650's and was worked until 1962. The village now has a population of around 400 local residents.

HOW TO FIND US
From Junction 40 off the M6 Motorway take the A66 West signposted Keswick. At the roundabout take the first exit signed Ullswater, Watermillock onto the A592.
Turn Right at the T Junction on Ullswater to Glenridding.

OR
From Junction 36 off the M6 motorway take the A590/A591 West signed Windermere. At the roundabout in Windermere take a right signed to Ullswater and Penrith A592. We are 13 miles down this road.
